English Marriott International and IOI Properties Group announced an agreement on 30 September 2026 covering four new-build hotels with an expected total of 888 rooms.
The developments comprise The Ritz-Carlton, Putrajaya; W Langkawi in Kedah; Aloft by Marriott Sepang in Selangor; and Aloft by Marriott Johor Bahru Plentong in Johor.
The announcement outlines planned hospitality and commercial amenities across these locations. These are signed development projects, rather than four operating hotels.
