The Star reported on 12 September that Johor executive councillor Lee Ting Han sees the state’s annual RM100 billion investment target as achievable. The report cited RM59.4 billion in approved investments for the first half of 2026, a figure also supported by MIDA’s published data.
The RM100 billion figure remains a target. Approved investments of RM59.4 billion do not mean that all funds have been deployed or all projects are operating.
