槟州首席部长曹观友于2026年10月6日的Malaysia MedTech Industry Summit表示，槟城医疗科技业在2021年至2026年第一季累计获批23亿令吉投资，涉及40个项目，并创造近4,500个工作机会。
这组数字反映多年产业发展，并非一天新增的投资。槟城接下来将加强设计、研发、监管及测试能力。

At the Malaysia MedTech Industry Summit on 6 October 2026, Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said Penang recorded RM2.3 billion in approved MedTech investment across 40 projects from 2021 to the first quarter of 2026, creating nearly 4,500 jobs.
These are cumulative figures, rather than investment added in one day. Penang plans to strengthen design, R&D, regulatory and testing capabilities.
Buyers and businesses assessing industrial space or employee housing can investigate actual factory operations and job locations. Cumulative investment alone cannot determine a property's rent or appreciation.
