EdgeProp援引Bernama报道，数字部在国会书面答复中表示，截至2026年7月，数据中心工作组批准的27个项目中，16个位于柔佛、10个位于雪兰莪、1个位于森美兰；项目预计合计投资额为2,259.7亿令吉。其中1个项目已经营运，26个仍在建设中。

EdgeProp, citing Bernama, reported that the Digital Ministry told Parliament that 16 of the 27 projects approved under Malaysia’s Data Centre Task Force up to July 2026 are in Johor, with 10 in Selangor and one in Negeri Sembilan. The projects carry an estimated combined investment value of RM225.97 billion. One project had begun operations and 26 remained under construction.
The projects must meet a minimum 30% local-content requirement and are expected to create 4,053 jobs, including 3,523 high-skilled roles in electrical and mechanical engineering, networking, cybersecurity and data-centre operations and maintenance. Malaysians are expected to fill 89.21% of the high-skilled positions. Approval still requires follow-through on construction, power, water, connectivity and actual implementation.
