While tabling Budget 2027, the prime minister said the JS-SEZ recorded RM132 billion in investment over that period. Malaysia and Singapore plan to launch its master plan and blueprint at the end of 2026.
He also cited Nexus Sedenak’s potential for RM12 billion in investment and 45,000 jobs, alongside road upgrades from the Sedenak interchange.
Businesses and industrial-property buyers can track the detailed plans and actual delivery. Sedenak’s figures are potential outcomes, not completed investment or existing jobs. Zone investment is not residential transaction value or evidence of house-price gains.
